WorkflowGen 7.7.0 features enhancements to the Administration Module, Configuration Panel and workflow engine, notably secure SMTP server support for email notifications. As well, the GraphQL API features new parameters, filters and fields.
If you're currently hosting WorkflowGen on a database server older than MS SQL 2012 or Oracle 12c, we highly recommend upgrading to MS SQL Server 2016 or Oracle 12c for the best performance and to support JSON native data fields that will used in future WorkflowGen releases.
For new WorkflowGen installations, note that as of version 7.6.0, the PowerShell installation procedure (compatible with MS SQL Server via SQL Server authentication, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016, and Windows 10) has replaced the former InstallShield Wizard installation. For Oracle database and/or other versions of Windows, use the manual installation procedure. For existing WorkflowGen installations, the upgrade procedure remains unchanged.
